CONSERVATION:
store at temperatures between 0°C and 8°C
AGING:
aged approx. 1 month
USE:
Ideal for bringing out the flavours of the mountain tradition. It is prepared by heating a slice of cheese on a hot griddle until it has a golden, crispy crust on the outside and a soft, stringy heart on the inside.
Perfect as a second course or rustic appetiser, it pairs splendidly with polenta, grilled vegetables, mushrooms sautéed with garlic and parsley, or typical cured meats. It can also be used to bring burgers or main dishes to the next level.
It is so versatile that it can be enjoyed all year round.
